Hello, Beautiful Soul!

First- thank you for your patience in receiving this delayed newsletter- I have had an immense amount of transformation occur over the last 3 days and I found myself absolutely unable to complete this newsletter in time, in a way that honored myself. This newsletter will be very short, and anything meant for this newsletter that hasn’t made it in here will show up next week. There is no premium content this week, all will be distributed throughout the rest of the month. I will also share my story of the really intense, life changing experience I had this weekend with you all in next week’s newsletter.

For now- a brief thought on breaking promises as an act of self love.

Sometimes the most loving thing we can do for ourselves is to pause, and NOT hold ourselves to the standard of execution or perfection that we take pride in. Sometime we need to say no- no to others and their expectations, and no to our own inner call of self sabotage that demands perfection.

Sometimes, breaking our promises is the only way to honor the deeper truth within our lives.

Keeping your word to others while betraying yourself isn’t integrity. It’s self harm.

It’s suffocation for your soul.

“Most promises transform from future commitments into chains that anchor you to a version of yourself that no longer exists. You’re not the person that made those promises anymore. That’s not failure- that’s evolution. And evolution demands leaving things behind.

The most violent thing you can do to your own soul is honor commitments you’ve outgrown. Your old promises are cages now. Too small for who you’re becoming. Too rigid for what you now know.

Children use words like ‘forever’ and ‘until death’. Initiated adults understand that all commitments exist in time and context. They recognize when a promise needs to die so something more aligned can be born.

Everyone praises the person who keeps their word. Few celebrate the wisdom of knowing when that word has become poison.

Sometimes, breaking promises is the most sacred act you can perform.”

This is so relatable for me, delivering this newsletter, with a promise to myself to put it out on time and to ensure that those reading, and subscribing, are given what I have promised. But sometimes, life has a different plan for us.

This weekend I installed an umbilicus in my healing room, now renamed the ‘Light Temple’. I anticipated it would take 6-10 hours. It lasted 3 full days, 12 hours each day, with the closing sealing ceremony just this morning. It was the most transformational, grueling, and beautiful ceremony of my entire life. All the shamanic training combined that I have done over the years doesn’t hold a candle to what happened in just 3 days. It was agonizing, beautiful, and birthed something completely new. It required a deep unwinding (death) of parts of me I hadn’t even met yet. It required me to then weave an entire new self. And so, 3 days later, the Umbilicus I have built will serve as as anchor point and a portal to oneness and unity consciousness for all that work with me. It is a womb of healing through the divine feminine that is available to absolutely anyone that says yes. I will share more details of this journey next week, for those that subscribe to the Crystal and Starseed tier offerings. I hope my story inspires you. I found a way to the most loving and whole parts of myself that I feel called to share with others.

I recently heard about a concept called the Law of Rewrites. It states that life delivers you cycles of the same experience as opportunities for you to respond in a new way, so you can transition and shift into a different version of yourself. I am sure this is familiar to us- the same thing cropping up again and again for us to move through, like layers of an onion, even though we may have thought we had already cleared it, or healed it. I bring this up as it related to setting loving and healthy boundaries with self. Here is the post:

It is counteractive to the act of loving oneself- it is rigid, binding, and doesn’t allow flow to take you on the next step of your journey.
